Mohawkite Bookends


Mohawkite bookends with a mix of basalt. Bookends are approximately 5 3/4" L x 6 1/4"T x 2"D. Our natural rock bookends are cut to show the best pattern, color and veining of each mineral. Mohawkite bookends are buffed polished and coated to enhance the beauty of the piece.

Mohawkite occurs in the Mohawk-Ahmeek Area of Keweenaw County, Michigan. Mohawkite is mainly a copper-arsenic compound. It also contains colbalt, silver, nickle, and iron. Mohawkite is rare; this is the only locality in the world where it can be found.
